# Introduction

## What is PyMons?

PyMons is a collection of interactive Web3, on-chain, player-versus-player games involving high stakes and intense matchups. Players wager SOL against one another and fight to the death against other players, competing for massive prize pools! As the owner of a PyMon, it falls to you to collect, train, and use your creatures in battle as you make your way to the citadel!
